a year in va
We made it one whole year of living in Virginia! what! Looking back at this past year we can clearly see the Lord's hand in it all. We have been stretched more this year than I think either of us expected to be.. we have had to lean into each other & to the Lord to get through it. It definitely hasn't been the easiest season to walk through but we have grown in our marriage and as our own family so much during this time and it has been really sweet. We have had to keep in mind that the Lord has been faithful is every area of our life and we can have confidence that He is going before us still!
a few answered prayer requests moving out here were:
a washer & dryer in our apartment - thank you Lord for caring about the small details!
a beach house to raise our kids by the ocean - we are 3 blocks from the ocean!
things to do close by - we are walking distance from the beach, 2 parks, coffee shops, and the local farmers market!
having family & friends be able to visit - we don't have a guest room but are always so thankful to have a full place with anyone visiting!
These are just a few things that have brought us peace knowing that the Lord hears our prayers whether they are big or small. We don't know for sure how much longer we will be in VA but a few things I do know for sure is that the Lord has us here for a reason, our family is growing here, & when we look back at this time in our life I want there to be sweet memories filled with love and joy.
